I was surfing around
MySpace one day and I stumbled upon Keith’s page. ‘Hair God’…that
caught my attention! I am one of those ladies who happens to cherish
her long hair so to find a stylist that claims ‘Hair God’ is a dream
come true for me. As I was reading his page, I decided to turn the
speakers on so I could check out the song on his page. Completely
oblivious to the fact that it was actually KEITH singing! I sent him an
email asking about the artist on the song – LO and BEHOLD I found the
answer I was looking for!
‘Wide Awake’ is the
title of the track and you have GOT to head over to his page and check
it out! Keith has some very impressive clients and it thanks to these
fellows that he has some amazing music to rip his vocals to. Velvet
Revolver’s drummer Matt Sorum plays the drums on this single; Billy
Duffy from The Cult plays all of the killer kick ass guitar solos &
Weezer’s bassist Scott Shriner contributed to this hit as well.
Working his hair
magic in a salon in Beverly Hills Keith says that “I would love to write
& record more than anything in the world”. Looking for a band that is
serious about music & people he can co-write with, Keith takes every day
for what it is worth and never looses sight of his goals in music.
“Really dramatic &
real life emotional stuff like broken hearts, people dying, real life
events” is what inspires him to write & create music. “Music is how I
vent my thoughts, I like to make music people can relate to” says Foti.
Writing since the age
of 18, Keith is keeping it real by staying with his career as a Stylist
for the time being. He was at an event with papa Roach in April
making the band look stylish as always!
